Starring Kabir Bedi, Sadhana, Anupam Kher, Irrfan Khan, Shammi Kapoor and Aarti Chhabria, The film is directed by Partho Mitra and produced by E. Sreedharan. It is a remake of the 2001 Kannada film, Ganga – The Divine Lady.
The story revolves around his co-worker Dalvi, who tries to woo his love interest, Shilpa, after their both are transferred to the same place. He becomes a playback singer and gets a chance to sing with superstar Mohit Chauhan.
Joining forces to thwart the goons and to make the recording sound effective, they take help from other people, who have their own motives. The film is based on friendship and romance.
